A digital platform built for Çetaş Otomotiv that unifies team communication and internal operations
In 2023, PROJX Digital developed a custom-built internal communications platform for Çetaş Otomotiv that brings together internal communication, operational processes and the employee experience in a single hub. The project covered SWOT analysis, project planning, project architecture design, server setup and maintenance services, a custom-software internal communication platform, UX Design, UI Design, a maintenance agreement, SAP integration, working hours management, X8 Core Business Management Software, an advanced reporting system, customer journey unification via the database, a loyalty program, an AI assistant, disaster scenario management, unified authentication with SSO, in-house TV announcement management, Outlook integration, human resources management, payroll, leave and support request management — all addressed together. The core goal of the project was to create a unifying, fast and centralized team communication infrastructure for approximately 2,000 employees working across roughly 50 branches.

BRAND & NEED
Operating in the automotive industry with a wide operational network, Çetaş Otomotiv needed more than a standard intranet solution because of its multi-branch structure. When the various applications used inside the company, operational information, HR processes, announcements and employee touchpoints moved forward in a scattered way, both communication slowed down and the employee experience weakened.
The need was to build a centralized digital platform capable of managing the information, interaction and operational needs of a large team working across many branches through a single channel, while at the same time integrating with the existing systems.
THE CORE PROBLEM
The main issue to solve in the project was the inability to deliver all applications and details through a single channel to roughly 2,000 employees across nearly 50 branches, and the resulting delays. Information being delivered late, employees operating in scattered systems and the lack of central visibility for processes was directly affecting in-house productivity.
The solution Çetaş Otomotiv needed was a unified internal communication and management platform that brought announcements, workflows, employee-focused modules and operational access together.
PROJECT GOAL
The core goal of this project was to build unifying team communication for Çetaş Otomotiv. Alongside that, the aim was to speed up the corporate information flow, simplify employee access to the tools they need, bring different operational processes together in a single hub, and strengthen the communication standard between branches.
THE PROJX APPROACH
PROJX Digital did not treat this project as merely an internal portal development job. The process was planned with a holistic methodology that evaluates employee experience, internal communication, integration architecture, operational efficiency and business continuity needs together.
The project started with a SWOT analysis to assess the current state, bottlenecks and opportunity areas. Then, in the project planning and project architecture design steps, both employees' daily usage habits and the company's operational needs were considered together. The outcome was not just an information-sharing platform but a strategic digital backbone that strengthens team communication and internal operations.

DESIGN AND EXPERIENCE PROCESS
The platform developed for Çetaş Otomotiv was advanced with a multi-layered and controlled UX/UI methodology.
In the Discovery phase, observation, interviewing, competitor analysis and prototyping were carried out to examine employee behaviors, internal needs and system usage habits in detail.
In the Define phase, persona, user audience and customer journey map work clarified the needs and usage flows of different employee profiles.
In the Developer phase, brainstorming, information architecture and user flow work shaped the platform's information architecture and usage backbone.
In the Design phase, wireframes, system designs, UI Design, testing and presentation processes were completed.
Thanks to this methodology, the resulting structure is not just an aesthetic internal panel; it became a digital experience where employees reach the information, applications and processes they need faster,
with high ease of use.
INTEGRATION ARCHITECTURE AND CORPORATE BACKBONE
On the project, a multi-layered structure was built with BI reporting tools, SAP, service integration, cafeteria integration, Microsoft Exchange integration and ManageEngine integration. Thanks to this approach, the platform was no longer a standalone collection of screens; it became a central structure that talks to the company's existing operational systems.
The unified authentication structure with SSO helped users access different systems more easily and securely. Outlook integration, in-house TV announcement management and other service connections moved the platform to the center of daily operations. X8 Core Business Management Software became the sustainable and extensible backbone of this structure.
HUMAN RESOURCES, SUPPORT AND
EMPLOYEE PROCESSES
One of the most important layers of the Çetaş Otomotiv platform is the module structure that centralizes employees' daily needs. Human resources management, payroll, leave processes, support request management and working hours management were brought together in a single platform, reducing employees' need to switch between different tools.
This approach has improved not only the quality of communication but also the speed and visibility of the processes through which employees engage with the company. As a result, the platform became more cohesive in terms of information sharing, transaction management and access to support.
AI, REPORTING AND
CONTINUITY
On the platform, the advanced reporting system provides stronger visibility to management, while the AI assistant has been positioned as a supportive layer in specific information and guidance scenarios. Unifying the user journey via the database has contributed to a more accurate evaluation of employee behaviors and touchpoints.
Disaster scenario management has been a critical component showing that the system is planned not only for daily use but also for continuity and resilience. As a result, the platform has gained a sturdier structure in terms of corporate trust and operational continuity.
RESULT
At the end of the project, Çetaş Otomotiv's internal communication processes became simpler, faster and more centralized. It became easier to deliver information and applications through a single channel to employees across different branches, delay issues were reduced, and internal processes gained greater visibility.
On the measurable side, the main outcome was the refinement of processes. This shows that the project did not just produce a technical platform; it directly improved communication quality, the employee experience and operational efficiency.
