Integrated e-commerce and digital management infrastructure for Dermalogica
In the custom software development process started for Dermalogica in 2014, PROJX Digital designed an integrated structure that brings together e-commerce, corporate website, dealer portal, training platform, inventory management, ERP integration, payment systems, e-mail marketing, affiliate marketing, digital marketing and cybersecurity needs under one roof. The main goal of the project was to accelerate digitalization, simplify operational management, centralize reporting and make data more effectively analyzable.

BRAND & NEED
Dermalogica is a structure with strong brand perception in the dermocosmetics sector and high operational continuity and multi-channel management needs. As the brand grew, the need became more visible for not just an e-commerce infrastructure that sells, but a sustainable system that ties inventory, payment, accounting, CRM, ERP, dealer operations, training processes and digital marketing activities together.
At this point, the need was not a fragmented structure made up of independent tools; it was a custom software ecosystem that delivers central control, data integrity and scalability.
CORE PROBLEM
The core issue to solve in the project was the lack of an e-commerce and digital operations infrastructure capable of supporting integrated management. When sales channels, campaign processes, dealer management, training content, reporting, integrations and user experience advance at different points, both management becomes complex and decision-making processes slow down.
The structure Dermalogica needed was a powerful platform that accelerates commercial processes, simplifies content and campaign management, centralizes data flow and works in harmony with different systems.
PROJX APPROACH
PROJX Digital did not approach this project merely as an e-commerce development job. The process was designed with an integrated product development approach that considers business goals, brand voice, international design standards, technical performance and marketing needs together.
On the design side, full alignment with the design concept set by the USA marketing team was ensured. The work model proceeded through the Discovery, Define, Developer and Design steps. This way, both adherence to the brand's global line was preserved and the functional structure required by the Türkiye operation was strongly incorporated into the system.

and turned into a central business workflow.
INTEGRATION ARCHITECTURE
In the Dermalogica project, a strong integration setup was built between payment, ERP, CRM, inventory, accounting, Google and AI-based components. Thanks to this structure, it became possible to reduce data duplication, ease manual operations and make reporting more reliable.
In particular, integrations established with inventory, accounting and payment systems provided a more controlled structure in terms of order flow, product management and commercial operations. CRM and Google integrations contributed to more accurate tracking of both user behavior and marketing performance. With the AI-supported automation layer, the aim was to accelerate certain operations and strengthen data-driven decision-making processes.
DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT PROCESS
Throughout the project, design decisions were considered not only aesthetically; they were addressed in terms of user experience, brand consistency, conversion performance and ease of management. While remaining true to the design concept set by the USA marketing team, the underlying software architecture was specifically developed to support this visual structure.
The PROJX team built a system that both preserved the premium perception and ran strongly on the operational side, by following a flow that merges brand expectations with technical needs in a single crucible.
SEO, DIGITAL MARKETING AND GROWTH INFRASTRUCTURE
The structure developed for Dermalogica was not limited to producing software; it was designed as a digital foundation that also supports growth and visibility goals.
In this scope:
PROJX SEO
Technical SEO foundation was strengthened with PROJX SEO Algorithms
USER EXPERIENCE
Product, category, campaign and content pages were optimized in line with search intent
TECHNICAL FLOW
The corporate website and the e-commerce experience were addressed together to balance content and performance
CONVERSION-FOCUSED OPTIMIZATION
Traffic, user behavior and conversion tracking were supported through Google integrations
DATA-DRIVEN MARKETING
E-mail marketing, affiliate marketing and digital marketing processes were made to feed from central data
CAMPAIGN AND PROMOTION MANAGEMENT
With the campaign / promotion management system, commercial actions were made more agile to manage
This approach created a sustainable model that supports the brand's digital growth not just through advertising investment, but through infrastructure, content, performance and data integrity.
RESULT
With the integrated structure built in the project, Dermalogica's digitalization process accelerated, ease of management increased and reporting moved to a more central structure. E-commerce, dealer management, training processes, campaign setups and integration management became more controlled.
On the measurable side, the project delivered a significant achievement with a 250% growth impact. This growth meant not only an increase in sales, but a strong transformation in terms of operational maturity, data integrity and manageability.
