BRAND & NEEDS
Operating in the children's playground and entertainment sector, KidZania needed far more than a standard e-commerce setup. The brand required a structure that combined the physical experience with the digital purchasing process within a single system, managed product, service, and ticket sales from one center, performed at high capacity during seasonal peaks, and simplified the user journey as much as possible.
This need pushed the project beyond the boundaries of a conventional e-commerce setup. At the same time, the system had to integrate with other software, centralize operational data flow, and fully comply with HeadQuarter Mexico regulations. For this reason, the solution was designed not just as a sales interface, but as a custom-built digital infrastructure that simultaneously supports business processes, user experience, and operational sustainability.
MAIN PROBLEM
The core challenge of the project was to unify different sales channels such as products, services, and tickets within a single structure. Alongside this, traffic generated during peak periods had to be managed without performance loss, multi-layered sales scenarios had to operate seamlessly, and a system integrated with other software had to be established.
Another critical need was simplifying the customer journey. Processes such as date selection, ticket flow, campaign structures, and the ability to purchase different products and services together directly impacted the user experience. In addition, full compliance with HeadQuarter Mexico regulations was among the project's most important requirements.
PROJECT GOAL
The primary goal of this project was to increase KidZania's brand awareness, improve user experience, build an advanced e-commerce structure, and strengthen the promotion system. In addition, the goals included building an infrastructure that runs stably under high traffic, centralizing sales and operations management, and enabling stronger data-driven analysis of user behavior.
PROJX APPROACH
PROJX Digital did not approach this project merely as a website or an e-commerce software project. The process was managed with a holistic approach that simultaneously considered project architecture, user experience, technical infrastructure, integration requirements, campaign scenarios, and international compliance needs.
The entire Discovery, Define, Developer, and Design phases were planned not only for aesthetics, but to deliver a high-performance, scalable, integration-friendly, and conversion-focused structure. Thus, what was built for KidZania was not just a sales platform but an end-to-end digital commerce system suited for the experience economy.

DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT PROCESS
The project developed for KidZania was carried out through a multi-layered and controlled UX/UI methodology.
In the Discovery phase, user needs, industry dynamics, and the existing experience were examined in detail through observation, interviewing, competitor analysis, and prototyping.
In the Define phase, persona, user audience, and customer journey map studies clarified the decision flow of families, users, and purchasing behaviors.
In the Developer phase, brainstorming, information architecture, and user flow work established the system backbone of the sales structure focused on product, service, date, and ticket.
In the Design phase, wireframes, system designs, UI Design, testing, and presentation processes were completed.
Thanks to this methodology, the resulting structure offered not only an aesthetically strong interface but also a user experience that simplifies the purchasing process, makes
decision-making easier, and maintains performance even under heavy traffic.
INTEGRATION ARCHITECTURE AND OPERATIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE
In the KidZania project, the system was designed to integrate with components such as CRM, accounting, e-mail marketing, IYS, reporting tools, and KidZoft. Alongside this, LOGO integration, ERP connections, shipping integration, and end-to-end data flow were supported, making operational workflows more centralized.
Thanks to this structure, sales processes were no longer just a front-end workflow; they became part of a more mature system operating together with accounting, reporting, communication permissions, operations, and marketing. Incorporating specific needs such as Isbank card features management and working hours management into the system also strengthened the project's operational depth.
SEO, DIGITAL MARKETING AND GROWTH INFRASTRUCTURE
In the KidZania project, PROJX SEO Algorithms were fully integrated at the heart of the structure. The aim was not just to be visible, but to attract the right traffic, increase conversion during campaign periods, and guide users into the right experience flow.
Within this scope:
SEO ALGORITHMS
The technical SEO infrastructure was designed in full integration with PROJX SEO Algorithms
TICKETING SYSTEM
The corporate website, e-commerce, and ticketing system were addressed within the same visibility strategy
TICKET SEARCH FOCUSED
Search-intent-focused page structures were created for product, service, event, date-based ticket, and campaign pages
ORGANIC TRAFFIC
Organic traffic, campaign traffic, e-mail marketing, and retargeting flows were supported within the same data structure
FAMILY FRIENDLY
Content and information architecture was planned to match family-focused experiences, children's events, and ticket-oriented user searches
SPEED EFFICIENCY
Technical optimizations focused on performance, speed, and crawl efficiency suited to high-traffic periods were developed
CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT
With the promotion and campaign management system, seasonal commercial actions were managed more agilely
CONVERSION FOCUSED
CTA, date selection, ticket flow, and cart experience were optimized with a conversion focus
E MAIL MARKETING
E-mail marketing, IYS, and reporting tools supported re-engagement and repurchase scenarios
Thanks to this, KidZania's digital structure transformed not just into a sales platform, but into an active commerce system that generates brand awareness, traffic, conversion, and operational efficiency.
RESULT
At the end of the project, KidZania's digital visibility, user experience, and commercial performance were significantly strengthened. While different sales channels were brought together under a single structure, the user journey became smoother and a more controlled performance was achieved during periods of heavy traffic.
On the measurable side, the project delivered a 500% increase in visitor growth, a 400% improvement in user habits driven by experience enhancements, and 2500% growth on the transaction side.
